Happy New Year!
It’s pretty amazing that we’re already in 2018. I know it’s snowing at my grandmother’s house in Georgia but here in Southern California it isn’t even really cold yet. We’re the new kids on the block (just over three months old)and like so many, we have big plans this year and we’re awfully excited.
We’re hitting the ground running in 2018 as we develop our next PU55Y Oil. It’s richer and a little more complex than our current baby, but just as good (of course). More work needs to be done in the lab before we have an exact day to launch our new baby but we’re optimistic.
In the meantime, we need you. We’ve found ourselves without a name for our second oil. Initially, it was to be named after a perfume I created in 2016 I called “Assata Blue.” In order to bring down the cost of our unveiled oil AND keep it all natural, we developed a new scent. It’s fresh, green and floral with a hint of warmth and richness.
There are three names in the running:
- Ruby Harlem (inspired by the actress and activist Ruby Dee)
- Rainforest (inspired by the color Congo Pink – documented in English in 1912)
- Folklore (inspired by my trips to Thailand and the Karen people in the North)
Here is what I’m proposing:
Contact us at HeartOfYemalla@gmail.com or on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and let us know which name speaks to you. We’ll deliberate in a couple of weeks and announce the final result.
If you happen to come up with a completely new name, let us know that too… though we can’t make any promises on those.
Peace and blessings in the New Year! I hope it’s your happiest year yet.
