Ever since I started Heart of Yemalla, LLC, I’ve been wondering what our next product should be. As it turned out, the launch of our latest product came about much like that of the first. It was something I had been creating for myself. When I found others expressing delight in it, I thought I might be onto something.
I finalized the decision to develop our brand of cocoa butter because of the orders for cocoa butter I was getting before the decision had even been made. I had started out creating small batches as gifts for family and friends. When the word got out in my small circle, its popularity increased.
Our latest product contains a high concentration of cocoa butter, unlike many of the others you find on the market. Due to my desire to keep the product both affordable , yet high quality, the stability of the cocoa butter is ever changing with the temperature of its environment, much like that of coconut oil. Under high temperatures, our cocoa butter transforms to a golden liquid which is still quite wonderful to use for pampering dry skin, however, a quick stent in refrigeration transforms the oil back to its buttery state.
Cocoa butter, also known as theobroma oil, contains antioxidants and promotes collagen in the skin. Our formula of cocoa butter also contains grapeseed oil with is a good source of vitamin E and is high in antioxidants. Grapeseed oil also moisturizes the skin and minimizes the signs of aging. The aloe vera oil in our cocoa butter contains vitamin C, Beta-carotene, vitamins E, B1, B2 and B6. Baobab oil has also been introduced to the formula to heal damaged skin, boost collagen production and add antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents to promote and nurture healthy and beautiful skin. While keeping the notes of cocoa butter’s traditional chocolate scent, our cocoa butter adds a sophisticated blend of notes that include vanilla, amber, fruit and musk.
We are excited about the high quality as well as the enthusiastic reception of our latest product. I’ve been using the cocoa butter for almost a year now and enjoy studying the healthy glow of my skin.
